Review Monday- Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick

Hi loves,

Hope you all are doing great. For this week i will be reviewing Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipsticks, from my collective haul if you want to check that out click here . I have 3 different lipsticks to review so hope you enjoy..

Price: Rm 22.90 Each

Quantity: 4.2 g

Packaging: The product comes in a metal tube with a translucent square cover.

Fragrance: Floral and yummy :)

What Maybelline Says:
                                  CRISPER COLOUR from pure pigments
CREAMIER FEEL from nourishing honey nectar

My Review:
I have always been in love with all the products maybelline comes up with. And this brand has never let me down so far. And the Colour Sensational Lipsticks is one of them. The product comes in a translucent coloured tube that matches the lipstick inside. These lipsticks are so pigmented and moisturising, the texture to this is creamy and glides on effortlessly. These lipsticks go on glossy and stay on for 3-5 hours, even though the glossiness goes of the tint of the colour stays on for about an hour or so.

+ 065 Hooked On Pink - I would say this colour is a pinky red with a glossy finish. And this colour is perfect for all the skin tones. I am in love with this colour, i wear this everyday.
Hooked On Pink

+ 515 Coral Crush- This colour goes on vibrantly, but it is not a neon orange as seen in the tube it is slightly muted kind of like a pinky orange. This goes on glossy as well.

Coral Crush

+ 015 Born With It - This colour is a soft pinky nude with shimmer, This goes on glossy as well, but the shimmers in the lipstick kind of get into the lip lines. If you have darker lips this might look pale and ghostly. But this lipstick is great to use to tone down brighter lipsticks.

Born With It

In A Nutshell:

Pros:
- Affordable
pigmented
- moisturising
- creamy

Cons:
- The shimmers in the shimmery shades might get into the lip lines.

I would rate this product 4.5/5

I would definitely repurchase lipsticks from this line again. Since it is affordable and pigmented and there are 62 shades to choose from.

Review Monday- Maybelline Falsies Mascara

Hi lovelies,

Its been a long time since ive posted, sorry about that ive been so busy with uni. I am done with some of my work and i am taking a break to write a review on Maybelline Falsies Mascara. If you want to check my mascara haul click here.

so lets get on with the review.

Everyone has been talking about the falsies, when i first read and watched the reviews i knew i had to try it out my self and see what the fuss was all about.

ok here is what the mascara claims

The Claims:
False lashes, instantly
• Patented Spoon Brush fans out lashes from corner-to-corner, while our Pro-Keratin formula instantly builds volume without clumping
• Unique flexible wand helps to lift and separate lashes to provide the look of 300% more visible, fuller lashes, no gaps from any angle
• Contact lens safe and ophthalmologist-tested
• Waterproof, also available in Washable formula

The Brush

The brush is curved such that it would fit the curve of your lashes. i loved that the brush has alot of bristles, this would help coat all the lashes.

The Review

My Bare Lashes

My lashes with two coats of mascara

My lashes side view

When i applied this mascara i noticed with one coat my lashes were evenly coated. I applied two coats to give it that false lash effect. Since the brush is curved, it coats the lashes while giving it a perfect curl. This mascara is build able but you need to make sure to do it right to avoid over clumping. Its actually best to build it up while its wet on your lashes. This mascara does actually make my lashes pop, it gives good volume and length although it did not look like false lashes to me, but it was close. Its actually great for a person who wants that false lash effect but does not know how to wear false lashes or does not want to wear them. And this mascara lasts all day.

The only downside to this product is taking off the mascara, i used Garnier make up remover milk, it does remove the mascara but there is still some left behind on my lashes. And some times a lash or two comes off while removing the mascara which sucks, i am not sure if anyone else faces this problem but i do. But i still love this product.

I rate this product 8.5/10 and i would recommend this to everyone.

You can find this product at any local drug store, here in Malaysia it retails for Rm 35.90

Whats on my eye Wednesday ( Blue Lagoon)

Hi ladies,

Today's look is for a day out, its a very simple tutorial using 3 shades of blue. Ive used inexpensive eye shadows from Elianto. This brand is my go to for well pigmented eye shadows under 10 bucks.

Here is the look i created using three shades of blue.

These are the eye shadows i used, they are from the vibrant shadow collection. From left to right Midnight Blue, Rich Blue and Maya Blue. These eye shadows retail for about Rm 6 each.

Now lets get on with the eye look.

1 -  Prime your eyelids to prevent your look from creasing.

2 -  In the middle of your lids pat on Rich Blue with a flat shader brush.

3 - In the inner corner apply Maya Blue and blend the two colors together.

4 - Using a pencil brush apply Midnight Blue in the outer v, make sure to bring it bit above the    crease.

5 - Make sure to blend the colors together to give a softer look.

6 - Line the inner lower lash line with a black pencil liner.

7 -  Curl your lashes and apply black mascara to top and bottom lashes.

8 - Apply your other makeup as usual.

                                                         The finished eye look.

Products I Used :

* Elianto Eye primer ( Review on the way)
* Elianto eye shadow's in the shades Midnight Blue, Rich Blue and Maya Blue ( Review on the way)
* Avon Avon mega impact gel eyeliner in black flash ( Review on the way)
* Maybelline Falsies (In Waterproof Black) ( Review on the way)

What do you guys think?  Let me know if you tried out this look.  Leave a comment if you want to see other looks using Elianto eye shadows.
